It's tough to know when to obey your guilt and when to tell it to take a hike -- if you're feeling the urge to beg off new responsibilities, social events or other commitments, go ahead. The guilt you feel for taking the 'easy road' is minimal compared to the relief you'll feel at just doing what you want to do for a while. Don't skip out on big responsibilities, but say 'no' to little stuff.
