Mar 10, 2023 – Bragging isn't cool, but false modesty is worse! If you did something good, you should be up front about it. As soon as you start hiding your accomplishments, you start negating your own achievements. This is a great way to hurt your self-esteem. It doesn't matter why you're being so modest. You could be trying to save someone's feelings or you could be trying to ingratiate yourself, but stop. Be honest about what you did and the fact that it was pretty awesome!
